Windows Driver Package
Latest Release Version
The current release version of the driver package for Windows is available at the Meinberg download page:
Stable Development Version
A stable development version of the driver package for Windows, and the associated checksum file, are also available:
Driver packages
dkwin-3.14.exe and newer
also include a set of kernel drivers specific for Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 and later,
so unlike with earlier versions of the driver package, no additional steps are required anymore.
The command line tools from the driver package for Linux are also
available for Windows, and can be used in addition. See:
Potential Signature Problems on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008
Installations of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 may not be able to check the SHA-2/SHA-256 signature of current kernel drivers properly, unless a specific Windows patch has been installed. See:
- Availability of SHA-2 Code Signing Support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security-updates/SecurityAdvisories/2015/3033929
This patch is for these Windows versions, so if all available online updates for Windows are installed, there should be no problem with the driver signatures.
